United Helicharters Private Limited (UHPL) is a joint venture company with Qatar Petroleum of Qatar, Great Offshore Limited and UB Air Private Limited as major shareholders. Renowned Qatar Petroleum is an oil company belonging to government of Qatar, which through its subsidiary company "Gulf Helicopters", provides logistic and technical services to various companies in the Middle-East. Great Offshore is leading service provider in Oil & Gas Industry in the country with assests ranging from Drilling rigs, Construction barges, Off Shore Support Vessels and Anchor Handling Tugs. UB Air Private Limited is an old aviation company which operated as an Air Taxi operator and subsequently changed over to a non scheduled operator status. UB Air Private Limited and Great Offshore Ltd were operating helicopters on their operator’s permit from 1995 till 2003 after which all the operating divisions of each of these companies were merged and formed Joint Venture company and now operating as United Helichareters Pvt. Ltd. (UHPL).

UHPL provides Air Logistic services for most of the public and private sector companies in the Oil and Gas industry in India. Besides Mumbai, the company operates out of their other bases located on the West and East Coast of India.

UHPL (current and erstwhile partner companies) fleet has logged over 57000 flying hours till date with "ZERO" accident record in past 15 years of flying. In recognition of the High Safety Record achievement, Bell Helicopters Textron awarded UHPL "Certificate of Recognition" for achieving the highest safety record in India for two consecutive years in 2007 and 2008.

The company is certified to ISO 9001:2008 for Operations and Maintenance Services of helicopters. UHPL is also certified by DGCA of India to maintain the helicopters under CAR-145 / CAR-M.
